And merry Christmas to you and all of the contributors here!

Thank you! I assume that the first greeting is "Merry Christmas" in Breton?

Yes, Edward, it means "Merry Christmas to you all"!

Welsh is similar: they say "Nadolig llawen" for "Merry Christmas".

Yet I don't know how to say "Happy Boxing Day" in either of these tongues. Happy Boxing Day to you folks nonetheless!

What, no post in almost 2 months ?
Are we to believe you have surrendered, fagot ?

Because I got news for you. France and its language are still there, you xenophobic little cunt.

Et puis si tu pouvais avoir l'honnêteté de ne pas prétendre que "I do not to promote hatred of French people " ce serait sympa.

Sur ta page tu fais la pub de torchons anti-français comme "Vile France", "the French War against America", "the Arrogance of the French", "Des crimes contre l'humanité en république française: 1990-2002 ", "Tales of an American Emigre in Paris", French Betrayal of America" etc...

Je crois déceler un thème là. lol

Tu ne trompes personne. Linguiste mon cul. Un rebut xénophobe de fuckfrance.com oui.

Crèves et souffre.
De tout mon coeur.

Artie.

ps: La France t'emmerde.

Interesting blog.

I live in Quebec and I witness the so called "fight" to preserve French on daily basis. I know that this is a touchy issue for the Francophones, but for the rest of us it is just very tiring.

I don't wish French to disappear, but I have to say that I don't understand how you can live on an English speaking continent and let your resentment to English cloud your judgment about its usefulness. I'm from an anglophilic country (Poland) but I noticed that ALL immigrants (even the ones from Haiti or North Africa) learn English sooner or later, whereas over 50% of Pure Laine Francophones are unable to speak it and resent it when you use it (not only when you use it to talk to them, but even when you use it to talk to a friend...because, you know, "on est au Quebec et ici on parle Francais, esti")

This is sad. Even though I lived in Quebec for most of my life, I have a hard time understanding Les Quebecois. I think they are too emotional about this issue, and remain stuck in this mindset where French is still the world's lingua franca, while the rest of the world has moved on and away from French a long time ago.
